ADS-B Xtend Overview
ADS-B Xtend dual-band receivers allow Airport Surface Detection Equipment Model-X (ASDE-X) and Airport Surface Surveillance Capability (ASSC) airports to reduce gaps in radar coverage and flight track ghosting for improved situational awareness of all aircraft and surface vehicles.
Airports without ASDE-X and ASSC systems can also achieve low altitude surveillance and surface coverage of ADS-B equipped vehicles.
