The L3Harris Micro Quick Access Recorder is compatible with all major Flight Data Management systems and provides a quick, easy solution for recording and transferring flight data from commercial and military aircraft. Using a Compact Flash memory card and standard USB 2.0 interface, the μQAR stores the data and provides custom configurations options and FAA, STC and EASA modification packages to meet the unique needs of each operator.

How it works
The μQAR records a copy of the data provided to the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) for easy retrieval in Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) systems. The data stored in the CF card can then be transferred into a third-party FOQA/FDM (Flight Data Management) system for analysis. The recorder can be adapted for custom configurations.
Small and lightweight, but a powerful tool for data transfer
The μQAR may look small and unassuming, but it gets the data flowing easily with its many features and options. The μQAR features optional bi-polar or bi-phase inputs, optional data wrapping and data sensing, optional USB output from main connector or a standard USB jack, and optional electrical connector configurations. AC and DC versions are available. Quite a lot from a device that weighs less than six ounces.
L3Harris Express Readout and Flight Data Connect services
Operators can subscribe to the secure, Cloud-based L3Harris Express Readout services, a patented automated verification of data from the flight data recording devices. The easy-to-use service enables users to upload, analyze and access mandatory reports and multiple flights simultaneously. It provides the most rapid solution for providing readout and intelligibility reports within hours, which meets ICAO, EASA and FAA mandates. Additional services include Flight Data Connect, which provides the capability for analyzing Flight Data Monitoring (FDM)/Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) parameters and aligning real events to the airlines Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
