CEO Message - Our Commitment to Employees, Customers and Communities

The global spread of COVID-19 is challenging our society in ways never before imagined – while also highlighting the vital role that governments, businesses and individuals play in combatting it.

At L3Harris, we are responding by focusing our efforts on keeping our employees safe, helping our customers sustain their critical services and supporting community efforts to combat the virus spread.

To protect our employees, we are implementing rigorous safety procedures – enabling 50% of employees to work from home; instituting stringent hygiene protocols, redesigning workspaces to ensure social distancing and staggering work shifts where critical work is underway; and eliminating travel and attendance at external events. In addition, we’ve activated a relief fund for employees who may have experienced an unexpected financial burden. We are expanding our back-up childcare service, employee assistance program, paid time off policy, and other services.

For our customers, we are dedicating all our resources to support the government agencies, warfighters, first responders, air traffic controllers and others providing vital services during this critical period. We also are assisting our business partners, especially small- and medium-sized companies, that are experiencing significant challenges from the pandemic.

To support those serving on the front lines of the COVID-19 battle, we are partnering with the Department of Defense, Aerospace Industries Association and the Air Force to leverage the nation’s Defense Industrial Base in finding solutions to the problems we are facing in our communities. In addition, we are donating funds and matching employee donations to charitable organizations involved in relief efforts; creating STEM-inspired educational videos to engage out-of-school students; and supporting grass-roots efforts, such as community food drives and providing virtual volunteers to charitable organizations.

Supporting critical missions throughout the globe is part of our DNA. And, I couldn’t be more proud of our 50,000 employees who are giving everything they have to help keep the world safe and secure.

History has proven that we can overcome any challenge when we all work together. The challenge we all face is evolving, and our response will evolve with it. That is our commitment.
