L3Harris was named Corporate Partner of the Year by INROADS, Inc. – a non-profit organization committed to leadership development and career advancement of underrepresented talent across the country – at the INROADS Virtual 50th Anniversary Benefit Gala.

L3Harris was recognized for its dedicated efforts toward inclusiveness and diversity, including its support of the INROADS College Links program, which provides leadership development, mentorship and college preparation to diverse high school students. Last year, L3Harris committed $2M to INROADS for the creation of the College Links program in Orlando, expansion of the College Links program in Dallas and continued support of the INROADS College Links program nationwide.

“L3Harris has set the standard when it comes to building a talented diverse workforce,” INROADS President and CEO Forest T. Harper, Jr. said. “It is our pleasure to recognize L3Harris for their ongoing commitment to diversity in Corporate America and their impact on the INROADS College Links program."

Jim Girard, Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for L3Harris and INROADS National Board Vice Chair, said, “It is especially important to receive this award while celebrating the 50th anniversary of INROADS. L3Harris is committed to growing the diversity talent pipeline in support of our nation’s emerging workforce – but more than that, we share Reverend Frank C. Carr’s vision for a brighter, more equitable future for our youth. Each year we welcome INROADS interns in the hopes that they will launch their successful careers within the L3Harris family.”

L3Harris has hosted over 200 INROADS interns since 2015, including Deasia Little, Specialist, Engineering, who joined L3Harris in 2017.

“INROADS has been very instrumental in the advancement of my career,” Little said. “The professional and leadership development skills I learned allowed me the confidence to start my career with L3Harris. As an INROADS alumna, the networking, career development, and community outreach opportunities have continued and are still beneficial to my career growth.”

L3Harris is dedicated to recruiting and developing diverse, high-performing talent who are passionate about what they do. Employees are unified in a shared dedication to customers’ missions and quest for professional growth.
