DALLAS, Texas — L3Harris Technologies’ (NYSE:LHX) ESI-500 Electronic Standby Instrument has been has selected for standard production on the Bristell B23 aircraft made by Czech Republic-headquartered BRM AERO.
“The L3Harris ESI-500 provides a certified, cost-effective, feature-rich standby for emergency flight operations. It has been designed to meet all regulatory and OEM requirements and is FAA and EASA certified,” said Jean-Michel Clairis-Gauthier, Vice President of OEM and Aftermarket, L3Harris.
The high-resolution ESI-500 standby offers optional advanced navigational and SyntheticVision, which depicts 3-dimensional terrain and obstacles to reflect topography and hazards with impact alerts shaded to increase situational awareness. The clear display and pilot selectable configuration settings provide a real-world view in the cockpit.
