CRAWLEY, U.K., — Wizz Air, Europe’s fastest growing airline, has selected L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) for a new pilot training services and framework agreement.
The European airline and L3Harris have worked together since 2015 and the new agreement extends the current airline services agreement secured in 2018. The training services will be carried out at the advanced facilities in the L3Harris London Training Centre.
This training will support Wizz Air and its A320 and A320neo-family fleet, as the airline expects to see a significant increase in flights this summer as international travel restrictions are expected to be eased. The airline’s network now covers more than 80 destinations from 11 U.K. airports, including three quarantine-free countries on the U.K. government’s green list.
