We manage our impact on the environment through an environmental sustainability strategy. We have established four objectives to be accomplished by 2030.

The L3Harris Green Teams are organized, grassroots and cross-functional groups of employees who voluntarily come together to brainstorm, motivate and empower employees around environmental sustainability and volunteer in local communities. They focus on identifying and implementing environmental sustainability-based projects such as resource conservation, pollution prevention and waste diversion initiatives.
Our philanthropic commitments align with our business strategy and reflect our values. Our partnerships are organized around three strategic pillars: STEM, Mission-Aligned and Community. Through our STEM initiatives, we aim to excite and inspire students of all ages. We facilitate learning opportunities in areas like robotics, coding and space both in local community programs and in partnership with various colleges and universities.
Our Mission-Aligned programs recognize and benefit our nation’s veterans, active duty military and their families, as well as our first responders through partnerships with organizations like Homes For Our Troops. Our Community programs reach into the communities where our employees live and work to make a positive impact.
L3Harris Investing for Tomorrow (LIFT) is our way of giving back to the communities where we live and work.
Through LIFT we encourage active community involvement by funding employee-led volunteer projects, prioritizing those that best align with our strategic giving pillars. Projects include: coaching robotics teams, STEM mentorship for at-risk youth, food packing events, care packages for active duty military members and so many more.

All political and lobbying spending must reflect our interests, as an entity, and not those of any individual, and be solely focused on educating policy makers about our core values and solutions to meet our customers’ mission-critical needs across space, air, land, sea and cyber domains.
