L3Harris Recognizes Employee Achievements with LHX Excellence Awards

Group of leaders and employees gathered for awards ceremony

MELBOURNE, Fla., Nov. 21, 2025 — L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) has announced this year’s LHX Excellence Awards, the company’s most prestigious recognition for its employees, honoring six teams across the enterprise for their achievements in operational excellence.

The awardees include nearly 70 of L3Harris’ 47,000 employees, representing work across Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, New Jersey, New York and Ohio.

“The LHX Excellence Awards reinforce L3Harris’ Trusted Disruptor strategy by recognizing those who innovate with speed and deliver results that propel our mission forward,” said Dave Zack, Vice President, Operations and Program Excellence, L3Harris. “Congratulations to the teams and individuals helping us reach new levels of performance and impact across the company.”

Award winners were honored at a ceremony at the company’s headquarters in Melbourne last month. Award categories included:

Manufacturing Technology AwardPresented to the Aerojet Rocketdyne team from Canoga Park, California, and West Palm Beach, Florida, for developing a breakthrough solution using additive manufacturing 3D printing capability to deliver solid rocket motor and related production components of increased complexity, unlocking new opportunities for innovation. 

Program Execution AwardPresented to the Corporate Headquarters team from Melbourne and Palm Bay, Florida, for launching an AI-enabled performance assessment to improve program execution and enterprise, real-time health monitoring, which will expand company-wide next year. 

Continuous Improvement AwardPresented to the Space and Airborne Systems team from Clifton, New Jersey, for transforming its factory to support the capacity increase in Viper Shield, an electronic warfare program for F-16s, resulting in new production capabilities to support increasing international demand.

Quality Award: Presented to the Aerojet Rocketdyne team from Camden, Arkansas, and Huntsville, Alabama, for strengthening solid rocket motor product capability, improving delivery performance and increasing customer confidence in capacity ramp-ups across critical defense programs.

Sustainability AwardPresented to the Integrated Mission Systems team from Mason, Ohio, for developing an initiative to save water each year and achieving the company’s annual sustainability goals.

Safety AwardPresented to the Communications Systems team from Rochester, New York, for designing and implementing a new, automated system for testing and delivering secure, resilient communications that improved capacity and workplace safety.

L3Harris fielded nearly 5,000 nominations for this year’s awards.
