Airborne Training Services Selects L3Harris Technologies for Flat Panel Trainer

CRAWLEY, U.K. ā€” Airborne Training Services (ATS), a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group, Inc. (ATSG), has selected L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) to deliver a Boeing 767-300ER Flat Panel Trainer (FPT) to streamline and improve the cost-effectiveness of its training.

ATS is an FAA-certified Part 142 training facility that provides training for ATSGā€™s subsidiary airlines ā€“ Omni Air, Air Transport International and ABX Air ā€“ and offers a range of simulator-based training services to other customers.

The new trainer will be delivered to the ATS Training Center in Wilmington, Ohio in spring 2021, to expand ATSā€™s mix of training devices across its programs and allow more efficient utilization of its higher-fidelity simulators.
