DALLAS, Texas — L3Harris Technologies’ (NYSE:LHX) EFD-750 Electronic Flight Display has received AML-STC certification from the FAA, which enables the display to be installed on a variety of aircraft platforms as a retrofit solution, reducing AOG time and maintenance costs for business aviation and helicopter operators.

This new EFD-750 AML-STC enables global operators to receive those same safety and efficiency benefits as a cost-effective, retrofit solution.”
As an essential back-up display, the EFD-750 is used on turboprops, light jets and helicopters. It mirrors the primary flight display presenting airspeed, altitude, attitude and slip data with options for heading and navigation. It also uses a high-resolution Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display and is certified to the FAA TSO DO-178C and DO-254, Level A authorization and certification – a stringent safety standard ensuring optimum fidelity and reliability.
Several OEMs have selected the EFD-750 as a standard line-fit solution because of the advanced, configurable navigation and pilot menu options as well as enhanced safety. Back-up systems are in high demand for in-service aircraft. This new certification now makes it available as a retrofit solution from Duncan Aviation or any authorized L3Harris dealer.
The FAA Approved Model List (AML) No. ST02718LA authorizes the replacement of the existing standby attitude, airspeed and altitude indicator(s) with the EFD-750 with optional ADC-4000 Air Data Computer and optional MAG-500 Magnetometer for Textron Aviation models 550, 560, S550, 560XL and Beechcraft Corporation Hawker models 750, 800, 800XP, 850XP and 900 XP platforms.
