The Q189 Series antennas are amplitude and phase tracked on a 100% basis as matched sets, ensuring interchangeability at the system level. In addition, the axial ratio is extremely low (considering the low frequency cutoff versus the nominal 2-inch diameter of the antenna) over the majority of a hemisphere. Together, these characteristics make the Q189 Series of antennas an ideal element for array and direction-finding (DF) applications.
