In today’s evolving battlespace, the ability to project counter-air operations from dispersed operating locations is critical to sustaining an operational advantage. The Tactical Operations Center-Light (TOC-L) is designed precisely for this mission.
As a key enabler of the Department of the Air Force’s Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) vision – managed by the Department of the Air Force’s Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications and the Battle Management’s Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) division – TOC-L represents the tip of the spear for the DAF BATTLE NETWORK.
The DAF BATTLE NETWORK is the integrated system-of-systems connecting sensor, effector and logistics systems, preparing commanders to outpace evolving threats by enabling better situational awareness, faster operational decisions and decisive direction to the force.
Delivering Mission System Integration
As a key industry partner with Booz Allen, L3Harris brings more than 60 years of mission integration expertise to accelerate TOC-L’s transition from prototype to operational capability. We are focused on ensuring the system achieves mission readiness through our experience in scalable sensors, sensor processing and systems-of-systems integration.
As a member of the ABMS Digital Infrastructure (DI) consortium, we are designing and developing the CJADC2 backbone for the U.S. Air Force. Our deep knowledge in tactical radios, waveforms and data link development ensures that TOC-L is seamlessly connected across the battle network. This combination of expertise positions us to help the Air Force field a capability that is both robust and adaptable.
Advancing Connectivity and Situational Awareness
L3Harris is a leader in advanced communications and data solutions, providing critical technologies that secure connectivity for the U.S. and allied forces. Our systems power modern weapons and critical command-and-control platforms, delivering dependable performance in complex missions.
Our state-of-the-art sensors and resilient communication systems gather and process data from across all domains to streamline decision-making. By leveraging artificial intelligence and data fusion, we ensure faster integration of actionable information.
With its compact, SWaP-optimized design, TOC-L’s communication suite ensures reliable connections across a multitude of pathways in degraded environments. With multichannel radios, SATCOM terminals and an extensive library of resilient waveforms, TOC-L enables forces to rapidly respond to threats from anywhere.
