CHINA LAKE, Calif., Sept. 21, 2026 — L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) and the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake have signed a multi-year agreement to manufacture critical missile components in support of national defense. This public-private partnership addresses rising capacity needs for key munitions, including Raytheon’s Tomahawk® cruise missile. Raytheon is an RTX business.

L3Harris has supported Tomahawk production for more than 30 years. The company specializes in producing a variety of key components for Tomahawk, including the Mk 135 solid propellant booster and the blast-fragmentation warhead.
L3Harris previously announced a similar public-private partnership agreement with Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division for increased solid rocket motor production of the Mk 104 solid dual thrust rocket motors that provide second stage propulsion for Raytheon’s Standard Missile program.
