This pyramidal horn has two orthogonal input ports, through which simultaneous horizontally and vertically polarized modes are generated. With the inclusion of a 90° hybrid at the horn terminals, both right- and left-hand circular polarizations are simultaneous available.
The AS-48450 antenna is designed for application as an individual primary radiator or as an array element, and is capable of handling RF power for transmitting applications. It is also ideally suited for illuminating high-gain reflectors for surveillance and direction-finding systems.
