Overview
The AS-48455 Dual-Polarized Quad-Ridged Horn Antenna provides medium-gain directional radiation patterns over an extended-octave bandwidth at millimeter-wave frequencies.
This pyramidal horn has two orthogonal input ports through which simultaneous horizontally and vertically polarized modes are generated. With the inclusion on a 90° hybrid at the horn terminals, both right- and left-hand circular polarizations are simultaneously available.
This antenna is designed application as an individual primary radiator or as an array element. The AS-48455 horn is also ideally suited for illuminating high-gain reflectors for surveillance and direction-finding systems.
