Passive EO/IR Detection and Tracking for Distributed Maritime Operations

L3Harris team leverages ONR/NRL CESARS and SPECSS NC investment to provide mature technology on the Shipboard Panoramic Electro-Optical Infrared (SPEIR) program with the U.S. Navy. Our SPATIAL solution delivers an open architecture shipborne system that uses shipboard-installed EO and IR sensors to provide visual surveillance – passive surveillance, detection, and cueing – in support of ship self-defense. The program addresses the mission limitations of existing EO/IR technology expanding these systems’ scope of tasks.
