L3Harris will contribute its decades-long expertise in intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and EW design, integration and manufacturing. RFTEQ will apply its specific radio frequency technologies and EW applications to support the Commonwealth’s defence objectives.

L3Harris has expanded its support and presence in the Commonwealth in recent years, including the establishment of a Centre of Excellence for Electronic Warfare in Brisbane in 2024 and an Indo-Pacific Regional Support Centre in Pinkenba in 2025. Last year, the company launched a new, next-generation software device called NETCASTER™ – a sovereign Australian capability that increases tactical network optimisation and performance of traditional routers through open-standards architectures.
