Overview
L3Harris periscope systems include precise, high resolution optics, and integrated sensor packaging. Integrated sensor options can include ESM EW, DF, GPS, communications antennas, thermal imaging, low light imaging or image intensified cameras, and low observables technology.
These systems have all the advantages of modern optronic masts but provide easy retrofit into existing submarines as well as back up visual paths to the operator. Periscopes can be remote-controlled from an integrated combat management system or operated local at the display and control.
