Rio™ Signals Intelligence System

Rio Niño is the latest generation of technology, leveraging decades of investment in advanced COMINT software-defined radio (SDR) systems. Operationally fielded in 2016, the 15-pound Rio Niño contains all COMINT functionality with three million source lines of software leveraged from L3Harris’ largest SIGINT systems.

Rio Grande is the latest technology, leveraging decades of investment in advanced, multichannel coherent systems. It is a full-featured COMINT system covering 2 MHz (HF) to 8 GHz (SHF) leveraging 12 or 16 coherent software-defined receivers and five million lines of software from L3Harris’ largest SIGINT systems.

Rio Socorro is a radio location and monitoring system that aids maritime law enforcement, search and rescue, disaster response and maritime traffic management. The DF system is capable of receiving, detecting and locating search and rescue (SAR) beacons to have a direct impact on the survivability of a person on sea or land.
