L3Harris not only has the capability to design complex sensor systems and execute complex data collections missions, but also provides expertise to reduce and analyze EO/IR mission data sets. Because we 'do it all', we have unique insight into the process and our scientists and engineers have developed the tools and skills necessary to manage data at all steps, from initial measurement through final reduction. These tools and skills provide not only raw imagery but also very accurate metric and radiometric reduced data sets. Our scientists are experts in reducing the effects of atmospheric obscurants such as water, vapor and aerosols to produce high-quality infrared and optical data of missile tests.
L3Harris has very mature capabilities for point source radiometric data from missile test events. This includes deep expertise and powerful tools for metric and radiometric data reduction including compensation for obscurants such as water, vapor, and aerosols. We also have system and algorithm development expertise in Aided Target Recognition (AiDTR) including Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS). Our data science team is capitalizing on the emerging capabilities of deep learning and other AI/ML techniques applied to EO/IR domain to produce cutting edge target detection and track functions for Full-motion Video ISR systems.
