L3Harris, PGZ Sign MOU to Strengthen Polish Defense Capabilities

L3Harris Technologies and Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. (PGZ) announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) intended to enhance communication systems integration and sustainment for the Polish Armed Forces and bolster Poland’s indigenous defense industry.

L3Harris is under contract to provide its portable Vehicle Agnostic Modular Palletized ISR Rocket Equipment to the Department of Defense to strengthen Ukrainian security defense efforts. The company will install VAMPIRE kits on U.S. government-provided vehicles for agile combat support to the Ukrainian battlefield.

L3Harris Technologies announced today receiving a $40 million Department of Defense contract to deliver 14 Vehicle Agnostic Modular Palletized ISR Rocket Equipment - or VAMPIRE™ multi-purpose weapons system - to strengthen Ukrainian security defense efforts.

L3Harris is expanding the capabilities of its customers in Poland by increasing our manufacturing and customer service capabilities. In addition to the strengthened partnership with PGZ as a result of the MOU, L3Harris plans to open a facility in 2024 to support advanced electro-optical/infrared engineering and manufacturing. The new 2,800-square meter facility will serve Poland, the wider European continent and a range of broader international customers. It will drive cross-functional efficiencies across research and development, engineering, assembly and administration, ensuring our customers remain operationally ready.
