L3Harris to Boost Polish Navy Combat Power with Advanced Ship System

L3Harris Technologies has been selected to support the Polish Navy’s operational capabilities and maritime defence with an advanced ship management system for the new Miecznik-class frigates. PGZ Stocznia Wojenna, the state-owned shipyard, selected L3Harris’ Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS) to enhance ship performance, reliability and safety.

New Facilities Serving Poland, Europe and Beyond

L3Harris is expanding the capabilities of its customers in Poland by increasing our manufacturing and customer service presence. L3Harris has begun manufacturing electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensor systems at its new 2,000-square-meter facility in Katowice. It will drive cross-functional efficiencies across research and development, engineering, assembly and administration to ensure our customers remain operationally ready. The site can quickly expand production to meet the requirements of Europe’s Readiness 2030 and Security Action for Europe initiatives.
